Faced with increasing competition for successful employees and a variety of other business pressures, forward-thinking organizations understand and effectively integrate the fundamental elements of business into a strategic compensation program. In order to get to this level, it is critical to understand the steps needed to design a compensation structure. This half-day program will cover the elements of each step. The program explores the practice and theory of compensation design and administration and covers how to tailor a compensation program to support organizational strategic goals and objectives. The building blocks of compensation design are reviewed as well as an overview of how businesses are changing their thoughts on compensation in today’s environment. This participative session includes practical exercises to reinforce course content, as well as example plans and case studies.
