How Human-Centered Companies Are Changing the Future
Speaker: Derek IrvineDerek Irvine, co-founder of Workhuman, talks about his new book, Making Work Human: How Human-Centered Companies are Changing the Future of Work and the World. This transformative work is based on 50 million data points and is leading the charge to dismantle old HR processes and challenge organizations to build new ways to connect the modern workforce. This is data with a heart and research with a goal to rehumanize.

The Emerging Future: Building Future-Ready Organizations and High-Performing Cultures to Compete and Win in the Decade Ahead
Speaker: Seth MattisonAs we enter the second decade of the 21st century, leaders prepare to face an unrelenting and continuously shifting landscape of change and transformation. Of course, change has always been a reality for the modern-day leader, but today it knows no boundaries, no borders, and no breaks. The impact of this can be felt as individuals fatigue under the weight of extreme ambiguity.
From ever-evolving go-to-market strategies and expanding customer expectations to an emerging list of new future-ready competencies and new ways of working, today’s leaders are seeking certainty about the future and the confidence to trust themselves to rise to the occasion and meet the moment with influence and impact.
Rooted in the research and bolstered by time advising high performers in the field, Seth Mattison will help prepare leadership teams to meet the decade ahead with confidence, clarity, and conviction.

On the Edge: The Art of High-Impact Leadership
Speaker: Alison LevineImagine yourself on the highest mountain in the world. You have to deal with the physiological effects of extreme altitude—along with bone-chilling temperatures, battering winds, and a climbing team who's counting on all of their members to make smart decisions. There's simply no room for poor judgment—one mistake or misstep can result in an "unrecoverable error." In any situation where lives are on the line or the stakes are exceptionally high, there's no better training ground for leaders than settings where people are pushed beyond their perceived limits. Drawing on her experience as team captain of the first American Women's Everest Expedition, Alison Levine makes a compelling case that the leadership principles that apply in the world of extreme adventure also apply to today's rigorously competitive business environments.
