Role and Purpose of the Mid-Year Review
Mutual support, discussion, and evaluation of progress toward achieving business and professional goals, as well as professional development needs, should be ongoing between employees and their supervisor.
The mid-year review provides a formal opportunity to:
- Review milestones and accomplishments achieved during the first 6 months of the year.
- Modify priorities and/or timelines of the annual goals established [enter date].
- Set new task and performance goals for the next 6 months based on the job description and the mission and strategies of the department and XYZ Company as a whole.
- Create or adjust an action plan designed to help the employee successfully achieve his/her goals.
