XYZ Company prohibits employee use of cameras or other video or audio recording devices in work-related areas and on working time in order to secure employee and patient/client privacy, trade secrets and other confidential and proprietary business information. Violation of this policy is subject to disciplinary action, which may include termination.
An exception to this policy on the use of cameras and other recordings of work areas would be to engage in activity protected by the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), including, for example, taking pictures of health, safety and/or working condition concerns or of strike, protest and work-related issues and/or other protected concerted activities.
