An audiogram cannot define why you have a hearing loss, but there are many possible reasons such as infection, wax buildup in your ear, and noise exposure. Noise induced hearing loss may occur gradually and there is no cure for it.
As your employer, it is our responsibility to inform you of this hearing loss and to provide you with information, training and personal protective equipment to preserve your present hearing level.
