Jami believes in modeling the changes she would like to see in the world around her. In the RBI Department, she uses this philosophy to resolve member issues, help candidates, and lead her team to provide excellent reference and background investigations for MRA’s members. In her role, Jami puts equal importance on making sure members get the information they need as well as making sure candidates are treated respectfully.
Expertise
Jami has worked in the RBI Department at MRA since 1999. Her favorite part of the RBI job is the people: interacting with members, helping candidates, and teaching the members of her team. In her former life, Jami was a teacher and coach, and she uses those skills every day in RBI, educating members and coaching her team members. Exceeding member expectations is her number one goal.

Education
Jami holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Trinity College in Deerfield, IL.
Professional and Community Activities
Jami is a member of the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA), holding her Advanced Fair Credit Reporting Act certification which is issued by the PBSA.
Jami has 20 years of experience coaching high school cheerleading, presenting at state coaching conventions, and mentoring new coaches.
