Time Commitment and Schedule

The Next Gen Advisory Board meets virtually each month from October 2026 through March 2027.

  • Second Friday of each month
  • 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. CT
  • Virtual - Live Online

Each meeting will have a dedicated focus, and there will be a minimal amount of prep work (less than 30 minutes per month).

Meeting Dates

•  October 9
•  November 13
•  December 11*
•  January 8
•  February 12
•  March 12

*Optional in-person networking event at MRA’s offices

Advisory Board Member Responsibilities

  • Attend and actively participate in monthly virtual meetings
  • Provide thoughtful feedback on MRA’s products, services, and messaging
  • Complete light prep work as recommended
HR Support

Nomination Guidelines

  • Nominations may be submitted by the candidate or a colleague
  • Nominees must be employed at a current MRA member organization
  • Nominees should have a basic understanding of MRA and its services
  • Applications should highlight strengths, leadership potential and interest in growth
  • Multiple nominations per organization are welcome

Nomination Timeline

  • Tuesday, May 19: Nominations open

  • Monday, August 31: Nominations close

  • Friday, September 11: Participants notified

  • Friday, October 9: Board kickoff meeting

Selection Process

All applications received on or before Monday, Aug. 31, will be reviewed by the Next Gen Advisory Committee. Selections will be based on alignment with the qualities outlined above. Selected Advisory Board members will be notified by Friday, Sept. 11, or before.
